It is my sad duty to inform you that Claire DaSilva passed away on October 12, 2026. Claire is the husband of Gilberto DaSilva, the mother of Eric Ouellette (Shanna), Kimberly Pontes (Jeremy), Kristin Botelho (Daniel), and Steven DaSilva (Sandra), and the sister of Joseph (Bernice) Thomas, and Michael (Marueen) Thomas.
Visitation will take place on Friday, October 16, from 4-8 PM at Saunders-Dwyer Funeral Home, 495 Park Street, New Bedford, MA. The Divine Liturgy for the Faithful Departed will be held on Saturday, October 17, at Our Lady of Purgatory Church at 10 AM.
We extend our condolences to her family and we ask Almighty God to welcome Clarie into His kingdom and may her soul rest in peace. Allah Yerhamma.
