I received the sad news that Rachel M. Morad passed away on Thursday September 3, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. She is the mother of Christopher A. Buzniak and his wife Tracey of Acushnet. Michelle A. Santos and her husband Mark of New Bedford, as well as her grandchildren, Christopher V. Nicolosi, Nathaniel D. Nicolosi, Ashlyn Buzniak, Andrew Buzniak and Keith Buzniak and her two sisters; Louise Lauze and Eleanor Morad.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday September 9, 2026 from 5 to 7pm in the Fairhaven Funeral Home, 117 Main Street, Fairhaven. The funeral will be Thursday September 10, 2026 at 9am from the funeral home followed by a Divine Liturgy at 10am in Our Lady of Purgatory Church.
Our condolences go out to her children, grandchildren, and her sisters. May Almighty God welcome Rachael into His kingdom and may her soul rest in peace.
