I ask your support in encouraging our parishioners throughout the Maronite Catholic communities in Massachusetts to sign and share a petition opposing legislation that would allow abortion up to birth.
REPEAL 188!
Governor Healey just signed a bill into law which removes all safety restrictions and ethical oversight for late-term abortions. While previous law provided exceptions for maternal health and fetal abnormalities, Chapter 188 removes these boundaries entirely, compromising maternal safety and viable infants.
A statewide effort is now underway to suspend and repeal this new law.

As Maronite Catholics, we are called to uphold the sanctity and dignity of every human life, from conception to natural death. Our faith reminds us of our responsibility to protect the most vulnerable among us, especially unborn children who cannot speak for themselves.
Please learn about the proposed legislation and participate in peaceful civic engagement as an important way to ensure that our voices and values are heard. Our parishes can truly make a difference in helping to get this law repealed.
