I received the sad news that Annie Peter passed away on Thursday, July 30th, surrounded by her family. Annie is the mother of Christine Peter (Jeff) Rego, the grandmother of Alexander, Jacob, and Matthew Rego and the great-grandmother of Hazel Rego.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, August 4th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals in New Bedford. Annie’s funeral will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 8:45 from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park Street, New Bedford, followed by Divine Liturgy at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Purgatory Church.
We extend our deepest condolences to Christine and her family. May Almighty God welcome Annie into His kingdom and may her soul rest in peace. Allah yerhamma.
