Dear Parishioners of OLOP:
It is my sad duty to inform you that Fr. Joseph Abi Saad passed away this morning. We extend our condolences to his sister Josette of Bsous Lebanon, his nieces and nephews in Lebanon, and his extended family Gaby Abdelnour and his daughters Regina and Gabriella of Lawrence.
Funeral arrangements are as follows:
On Thursday, August 22, his wake will be held at Saint Theresa Church in Brockton, MA, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The Ginnaz for a deceased priest will take place at 7:00 pm.
On Friday, August 23, there will be a viewing at Saint Anthony Church in Lawrence, MA, from 10:00 am-12:00 Noon. Father Joseph’s Funeral Divine Liturgy will be at 12:00 Noon celebrated by Bishop Gregory Mansour. Interment will take place at the parish cemetery followed by a Meal of Mercy.
We extend our condolences to our brothers and sisters of Saint Theresa in Brockton and Saint Anthony in Lawrence. May Almighty God welcome His good and faithful servant into His kingdom and may his soul rest in peace. Allah yerhammo.
