Dear Parishioners and Friends of OLOP:
I have forwarded a message from Bishop Gregory to all of us regarding the terrible situation in Lebanon and the Middle East. This weekend, we will have a special second collection for Lebanon to help those in most need. You can also donate on our website through Vanco. There is a category for Lebanon when you make your payment. I will send this money to the Eparchy and they will distribute it to the proper channels. We continue to pray for all of our brothers and sisters who have been affected by this tragic conflict. Through the intercession of Our Lady of Purgatory, we continue to pray.
In Christ,
Fr. Vincent

Dear Brother Priests, Deacons/Subdeacons, Consecrated Men and Women, Lay Faithful,
The situation in Lebanon is getting worse each day. Almost every Catholic hospital, care facility, church, monastery, school and home is now a place of refuge for the displaced Christian and Muslim alike.
Pope Francis has called us to pray and fast in a special way on Monday October 7 for world peace.
Therefore, I ask every parish to pray unceasingly, and this weekend or next to also take a collection, or do a fundraiser, for Lebanon.
Please send the check to the eparchy as soon as you can so that we may distribute to those who have need. We have received so many requests.
May the prayer of Our Lady of Lebanon be with us.
+ Gregory
