Dear Parishioners of OLOP:
The Chedid family will be accepting condolences after the mercy meal, in the church hall, until 6:30 PM. For those who cannot attend the funeral service, you may come to the church hall until 6:30 PM, Monday, June 24, located at 4256 Acushnet Ave., New Bedford, MA. I have also included the previous information about the funeral arrangements below.
Visitation will take place at Our Lady of Purgatory Church on Monday, June 24, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Immediately following the visitation, we will have the Divine Liturgy of the Resurrection at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery. The family invites everyone back to the Church Hall after the burial service for a mercy meal.
Once again, we extend our condolences to her children Jean (Rola) , Charbel (Antoinette), Jeanette (Said) Helou, Zakhia (Hiba), Genevieve (Jean) Rohana Chedid, Souraya (Joseph) Hwayek, Wassim (Elizabeth), and well as her grandchildren and family here and in Lebanon. We ask Almighty God to welcome His faithful handmaid Josephine into His Kingdom and may her soul rest in the loving arms of our Lord. Allah yerhamma.
