Dear Parishioners and Friends of Our Lady of Purgatory Church:
Enclosed you will find an Annual Appeal 2024 Letter from His Excellency Gregory J. Mansour, requesting our assistance in the annual Bishop’s Appeal held every year. The Bishop’s Appeal fund helps our Eparchy with many programs and much needed support such as educating our Seminarians, helping our retired priests, assistance to Lebanon, and our Eparchy’s Endowment Program. This enables the Maronite Church to thrive and continue growing in the rich faith of our ancestors.
I ask each of you to make a contribution to this year’s Bishop’s Appeal. We collected funds throughout the year with the envelopes that were provided in the yearly collection. We are still in need of everyone’s participation. We have been asked to send $3500.00 from OLOP. Please make your check payable to Our Lady of Purgatory Church and earmark the memo “Bishop’s Appeal.”
You may mail in your contribution or place it in the offertory basket on the weekend. You have responded generously in the past, and I trust that your kindness will help us meet our goal once again. I must submit this request on March 30, 2024. I thank you for your continued support of Our Lady of Purgatory Church and pray God’s blessings for you and your family.
