I received the sad news that Elie Sarkis passed away in Lebanon this past week. Elie is the father of Charbel (Elise) Sarkis. Our condolences go out to Charbel, Elise, Ray, and Michael, and to the entire family in Lebanon. Divine Liturgy will be offered this Sunday, September 12, at 10:30 AM, for his soul. May Almighty God welcome Elie into His kingdom and may his soul rest in peace. Allah yerhammo.
