Dear Parishioners of OLOP:
With much sadness, I was informed of the passing of Malek Hayek this week. Malek was a dear friend to many of us at Our lady of Purgatory. Our deepest sympathies are extended to his wife Joelle, his three children, his mother, brothers and sisters, and his many friends.
The wake service will take place on Sunday, May 23, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, Brockton, MA, where the Prayer of Incense will be prayed at 6:00 PM. The Liturgy for his soul will be celebrated on Monday, May 24, at 11:00 AM, at Saint Theresa Church in Brockton, MA.
May Almighty God welcome Malek into His kingdom and may his soul rest in peace. Allah yerhammo.
